Grumblewood are a quartet that hail from in and around Wellington, New Zealand. Inspired by the electric folk and progressive rock movements of the early 70s, their music explores the lyricism and rhythms of folk music, mixing in a bit of baroque, a bit of jazz, and a lot of rock. Their debut album Stories of Strangers has been recorded, mixed, and mastered entirely in analogue for that authentic 70s sound, and will be released worldwide on November 6th 2020.
