Grumblewood are a quartet that hail from Wellington, New Zealand. Inspired by the electric folk and progressive rock movements of the early 70s, their music draws from the rhythms and lyricism of traditional folk music, the cadence and counterpoint of baroque, the swing and expression of jazz, and the timbre and energy of vintage rock. Featuring flamboyant flute-work, creative fret-work, and melodic grooves, their songs weave timeless tales of fortune and fable, daring and demise.
